¶ Guide to Editing the TF Card of Magneto X for Wifi Connection
This document is for guiding how to edit the TF card of Magneto X to connect to wifi.
¶ Obtaining the TF card of Magneto X
First, you need to unscrew the screws as shown in the figure below, then find the TF card and get it out.
¶ Editing the wifi configuration file on the TF card
After removing the TF card, insert it into a card reader and then connect it to your PC.
On the PC, this TF card will be mounted as "opi_boot".
Enter the opi_boot directory, find the file named network_config.txt.template, copy this file in the original directory, and rename it to network_config.txt
Then open the file with Notepad for editing.
#1 Set the value of NC_net_wifi_enabled to 1 to enable wifi
#2 Enter your SSID and wifi password
#3 Change region to US or wherever you are
After editing, click save.
¶ Reinserting the TF card into Magneto X
Save the file modification you just made, then reinsert the TF card back into Magneto X. Start Magneto X, and it will automatically connect to the wifi you just set up.
