Comprehensive Guide to X-Axis Motor Error Troubleshooting
This document summarizes all information regarding X-axis motor errors.
If you encounter an "X/Y blocked" error message either at startup or during printing, please refer to this guide to troubleshoot the issue.
When the error occurs and involves the X-axis, the left LED as shown in the image below will light up red:
Before performing the following checks and maintenance steps, execute the macro command:
TEST_X_MOVE ITERATIONS=100 SPEED=600
Please send us a video of the X-axis motor movement while this macro command is running.
If you feel significant resistance and notice obvious friction marks on the X-axis rail surface, it indicates that the X-axis rotor needs to be replaced.
If the above situation occurs, please contact us by email to replace the X-axis motor rotor:

Check for Encoder Faults
Inspect the encoder's terminal blocks and wiring for any abnormalities.
Refer to section 4.2 of this wiki to use the linearmotorhost
on the printer, then move it manually:
Linearmotorhost User Guide
While moving the axis, if corresponding waveform changes occur as shown in the image below, the encoder is functioning properly:
If no waveform changes occur during movement, or the waveform is flat, this indicates an encoder fault.
Once you've determined that the encoder is faulty, please contact us at support@peopoly.net to replace the X-axis encoder.
